Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Define test objectives, scope, and approach, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Drive the overall testing vision and strategy, adapting to evolving project requirements and industry trends.
Test Execution and Management:
• Lead the execution of test plans, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure all testing activities are completed on schedule.
• Manage and oversee multiple testing teams across different geographical locations.
Defect Management and Resolution:
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
• Collaborate with development and functional teams to understand and resolve complex issues.
• Establish a robust defect management process to streamline issue tracking and resolution.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on testing progress, issues, and risks.
• Facilitate meetings to discuss test results, defect status, and other critical topics.
• Ensure transparent and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including senior management.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Mentor and guide testing team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Provide leadership and direction to the testing teams, ensuring they are well-equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and knowledge.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Quality Assurance and Best Practices:
• Ensure that all testing activities adhere to industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Continuously improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement and advocate for quality assurance methodologies and practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Extensive experience working in big four companies or similar high-caliber organizations.
• Proven track record of leading testing efforts in at least five end-to-end S/4HANA implementation/migration projects.
• Experience working on large, complex projects in a multicultural environment.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and functionality.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in test management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Certification in S/4HANA
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
