Job Description:
• Work directly with Enterprise Technology Infrastructure & Platform Services (ETIPS) staff – from technical to executive level – to execute against project timelines throughout implementation lifecycle
• Create and actively maintain Project Plans, including issues, risks/mitigations, actions, assumptions and decisions (IRAAD), with noted dependencies, owners and timelines
• Own and facilitate project status and ongoing project meetings, including setting agenda, driving direction and decisions, documenting meeting notes, action items, owners and dates
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using department standard tools/templates
• Develop and deliver status reports, project schedules and presentations for visibility and transparency
• Establish and maintain solid relationship with internal, external customers and 3rd party vendors
• Ensure team awareness of tasks and requirements and how they align to the project plan
• Drive best-practices and documentation in support of repeatable processes
• Other tasks as assigned by manager
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of direct IT Technical Project Management experience, including:
o Project Plan creation and management
o Analysis of requirements and documentation
o Stakeholder buy-in
o Project Budget Management
o Project Issue and Risk mitigation/resolution
o Project Communication and follow-up
• Understanding of Network and Systems technologies, including Microsoft email solutions
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple technical projects of varying duration (1-12+ months)
• Experience utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid ability to proactively communicate concise, written summaries of potential issues or risks
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to initiate and own all aspects of multiple projects
• Solid experience utilizing SDLC and Agile methodologies to deliver projects
• Solid inter-personal skills to communicate effectively across all levels and audiences (executives, technologists, engineers, customers, vendors and other business professionals)
• Experience actively demonstrating critical thinking within daily activities and across all project work
• Possesses solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a “can-do” approach to solving problems
• Demonstrated self-confidence and self-reliance in all aspects of this role to include escalation
• Demonstrated ability to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
• Experience effectively managing and communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner
• Experience liaising and effectively communicating unified messages to manager, leadership and project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Experience identifying and managing project status, budgets/costs, dependencies and critical path
• Experience proactively managing and communicating changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
• Experience and ability to consistently time manage effectively across multiple projects in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Experience being flexible, and able to adjust when needed, to think in the moment and propose solutions to challenges
