Key Responsibilities

Offering development: Continuously understand the industry trends , competition analysis & customer requirements to define, develop & enhance offerings for software business.
Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of software product engineering, testing, automation, Cloud, Data, AI, and the product life cycle to advise customers on best practices and innovative solutions. Lead the integration of cutting-edge technologies like GenAI and ML into product solutions, driving innovation and efficiency.
Consulting and Workshops: Organize and tech days, consulting workshops, and automation sessions to demonstrate the value of our solutions and engage customers in innovative ways.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations, understanding their business objectives and technical artifacts; drive innovation led opportunity creation.

Solutioning for RFP/RFQs and customer requirements: Collaborate across the BU and service lines to bring out the best technical solution for the customer requirements. Identify & ensure key winning factors with application of Harman technology accelerators, Service line capability & partners involvement.
Understand customers key investments and strategic optimizations plans and provide tailor made solutions for such scenarios.
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper mapping and alignment with customer needs. Facilitate collaboration across different company groups deliver comprehensive solutions.
Sales support: Work closely with sales and business development teams to identify new business opportunities and support account growth. Help sales in understanding the key GTM theme, aligning with the solutions & accelerators, target audience mapping and maximize the ROI on GTM efforts like campaigns etc.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Software Product Engineering space having worked with innovative & highly tech savvy software product organizations. Having risen up the technical career ladder and then excelled in customer facing technology roles

Technical expertise:

Strong experience of software development processes, automation technologies, and product management.

Strong understanding of industry trends like AI driven Software development etc.

Demonstrated ability convert ideas / trends into new solutions & offerings.

Demonstrable experience of working on areas like Cloud transformation, SaaS’ification of products, Platform modernization, Infusion of emerging technologies like AI in products and platforms.

Demonstrated experience of working in Agile/SAFe agile process & metrics driven environment

Customer-Centric Approach: Proven ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading collaborative efforts to deliver solutions.

Business Acumen: Ability to understand business drivers and identify new opportunities for value creation.

Education: A bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Additional Information

This position may require travel upto 50% at customer sites and events.
The role may be remote or based in specific locations, depending on customer needs and company requirements.
