About the Role
As a Senior Engineer in our Cloud, Data & Analytics API Integration Team you’ll play a key role in helping designing, setting up the API platform, self-service onboarding activities. This role manage the tribe backlog, working closely with others to prioritise work, manage interdependencies and distil features to epics. TPLs define what success looks like for the tribe and then measure their progress against that. In some cases, this role will also manage a chapter of Product Owners.

What will your day look like?
As an Engineer, you will:
Work on designing, building the API platform. Work on designing and building self-service onboarding capabilities or work on enhancements of the platform, stabilizing the platform and improving the self-service experience to customers.
Work with product owner in understanding the requirements and deliver what required. Work with different stakeholders that depend on our platform.
Understand platform customers, their needs and help them to utilize our platform by onboarding their APIs through our self-service.
Identify the gaps in the platform or in self-service capabilities and accordingly work in addressing them.
Work on BAU activities, address customer issues and align the expectations set by the product owner and your line manager
What will you bring?
Expertise in Kubernetes, docker containerization, CI/CD pipeline development using skills like github, codefresh or Jenkins. DevOps – Infrastructure as code mentality.
Openshift, EKS or GKE implementation design and testing, Knowledge on writing helm, terraform modules and helm charts.
Working knowledge on Node Js, shell scripting skills, RESTAPI knowledge, observability & monitoring frameworks. Designing and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge on SSL, MTLS, security protocols (OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0)
Good to have any API Gateway knowledge (Kong or Apigee)
Good to have REST API development skills.
Good to have working knowledge in testing frameworks, including mocking and performance testing.
