Job Description
Role – Salesforce Business Analyst
Location – Sacramento, CA (Onsite preferred, hybrid also supported)
Mandatory Qualifications:
MQ1: The Salesforce Business Analyst must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Management from an accredited college or university. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. Four (4) years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. The substituted experience must be in addition to the required years of experience. Example: If the experience requirement is five (5) years, and the individual is substituting four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a total of nine (9) years must be submitted to claim this qualification.
MQ2: The Salesforce Business Analyst must have a minimum of three (3) years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience within the last seven (7) years as a Salesforce Business Analyst on a Salesforce implementation project.
MQ3: The Business Solutions Analyst must have a minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience as a Business Solutions Analyst on a Salesforce Public Sector Solutions implementation project.
MQ4: The Salesforce Business Analyst must have a minimum of five (5) years of FTE experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst for a Salesforce SaaS implementation, a project budget of at least $10 million, and a project duration of at least two (2) years in State or Local Government projects.
MQ5: The Salesforce Business Analyst must have certification as a Salesforce Business Analyst. The bidder shall submit a copy of the Certified Business Analyst Professional with the proposal.
Desirable Qualifications:
DQ1: The Salesforce Business Analyst has a Project Management Institute (PMI) – Professional in Business Analyst or International Institute of Business Analyst (IIBA) – Certified Business Analyst Professional. The certifications must be active and not expire by the time of proposal submission. The bidder shall submit a copy of the Certified Business Analyst Professional certificate with the proposal.
DQ2: The Salesforce Business Analyst has a minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years of implementing Salesforce. The Salesforce application system must be for a state, county or city government with a population greater than 1,000,000 people. Bidder will receive five (5) points per year up to the (5) years of satisfactory Salesforce Business Analyst experience. (5 years of exp. required)
DQ3: The Salesforce Business Analyst has a minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience within the last three (3) years implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions. Bidder will receive eight decimal three (8.3) points per year up to three (3) years of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Business Analyst experience. (3 years of exp. Required)
DQ4: The Salesforce Business Analyst has a minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years of State of CA Technology Implementation project experience. Bidder will receive five (5) points per year up to the (5) years of satisfactory Salesforce Business Analyst experience. (5 years of exp. required)
DQ5: The Salesforce Business Analyst has a minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years implementing other State and Local Government projects. Bidder will receive five (5) points per year up to five (5) years of Salesforce Business Analyst experience for State and Local Government projects. (5 years of exp. required)
