Job Description

Primary Functions

Lead the collection, documentation, and analysis of business requirements specific to the Epicor Kinetic ERP system and other related applications.
Conduct high-level analysis of business needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
Design and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions within the Epicor Kinetic ERP environment.
Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated ERP system solutions that align with business strategies.
Create comprehensive system specifications, use cases, and test plans for ERP projects of various scope sizes.
Oversee and ensure the successful development, testing, and deployment of Epicor Kinetic modules and enhancements.
Manage and coordinate ERP projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Perform in-depth data analysis to identify significant trends, issues, and opportunities for strategic improvement within the ERP system.
Develop complex reports and dashboards within Epicor Kinetic to support high-level business decision-making.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across multiple ERP modules.
Serve as a key liaison between business units, senior management, and IT, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Provide advanced training and support to end-users and stakeholders on the Epicor Kinetic ERP system and processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-related issues within the ERP environment.
Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing expertise and knowledge transfer related to Epicor Kinetic.
Lead by example and foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, system enhancements and enhanced user experience.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in ERP systems, specifically Epicor Kinetic.

Knowledge and Skills

Detailed understanding of functional business processes across an organization, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Must be well disciplined, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to work within a fluid environment.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work within timelines.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to interact with members across the organization.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with key stakeholders, business functional leaders and end users at all levels in the organization.
Exceptional customer service mindset and ability to manage escalations to resolve project related roadblocks.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
Ability to work as a member of a team, and ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Proficiency in the use of computers required with a strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of eight years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar senior role, with specific experience in Epicor Kinetic ERP.
In-depth knowledge of Epicor Kinetic ERP system, including its primary modules, configurations, and data structures.
Barcode scanning and labeling design experience preferred.
EDI experience a plus.
Proficiency in advanced business analysis tools and methodologies.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead a team.
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or similar) preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Ability to sit intermittently to use the computer, perform paperwork activities, and attend meetings in different buildings.
Intermittent standing and working to gain access to departments and areas within the facility.
Ability to climb stairs to gain access to upper-level work area.
Finger dexterity is sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.
Visual acuity is sufficient to use a computer and to read and complete written documents.
Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals by telephone and in person.
Office setting with temperature controls.
