Structural and Civil Engineer Positions

Job Description

Structural Engineer (Project Manager) Qualifications Needed:

4-year degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Experience in all major construction materials (steel, concrete, masonry, and wood)
PE in any state is preferred, SE is a plus
5+ years of experience in Structural engineering

Civil Engineer (Project Manager) Qualifications Needed:

· Experience: 5+ years of experience preparing project permit and construction documents from schematic thru permitting and construction, including storm and hydraulic analysis and reports, and client/contractor coordination.
· Licensure: P.E. in Oregon and/or Washington or ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months of hire.
· Software Knowledge: Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required, and storm water modeling software, we use HydroCAD, other modeling software are acceptable.
· Technical Knowledge: Experience with local metro area codes, permit acquisition processes, and construction cost estimating is desirable. Land Development and land use experience is also desirable but not required.

Structural Engineer (Entry Level) Qualifications Needed:

· 4-year degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited university
· Exposure to wood, concrete, and steel design in coursework
· EIT/EI certification in any state is preferred

Structural Engineer (Post-Tensioned Concrete)

· 4-year degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited university
· Experience: 10+ years of experience in post-tensioned slab/beam design and analysis.
· P.E. license required with S.E. license a plus.
· Well versed in Ram Concept Software
· Firm specializes in multi-family/mixed use podium designs so experience with this construction type is a plus.
· Knowledge/design ability with other materials a plus (Structural steel, CFS, Wood, Masonry)
