Job Description:
To be successful in this engagement, we need a business analyst and a Microsoft programmer with expertise in business process enhancements, Excel macros, and SharePoint expertise on the technical front. A combination of project management, technical, and analytical skills would be very effective for the engagement. Here are some of the key skills required at a high level:
Soft Skills:
1. Problem-Solving skills:
Identify, analyze, document, engineer the solution, test and roll it out successfully.
Ability to use data and analytical thinking to identify opportunities and solve business process as well as data problems.
Lead reviews of the current business processes and develop optimization.
2. Collaboration & Communication: Crisp and clear communication with IT and non-IT resources at various levels of the organization, including senior leadership layer and other external vendors.
3. Critical Thinking: Research and evaluate several options before deciding the right approach to solve a given problem.
4. Task & Project Management: Identify, log, plan, negotiate, prioritize, assign and deliver tasks in a methodical way, minimizing scope creep, and eliminating confusion and chaos.
5. PE Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of PE Deal flow and how the business operates this space.
Technical Skills:
Microsoft technologies, including data processing and display via Excel and Power BI. Proficiency with Excel Macros and VBA.
Proficiency in using SharePoint for collaboration, document management, and workflow automation.
SharePoint design, site architecture, access management, data migration and governance.
