Database Administrator
Location: Lansing, MI. (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ months
Need Local to Michigan Candidates with proof
JOB DETAILS
Overall IT experience: 5 + yrs. Required.
Education: Bachelor degree. Required.
Database administration specifically on Oracle platform, version 19c and above. Required. 5 yrs.
Solaris and Red Hat Linux experience. Required.
SQL Experience. Required.
Over 1+ years of experience creating, updating and maintaining systems documentation. Required. 1+ yrs.
Follow and enforce database standards, policies & procedures. Research and draft guidelines within the boundaries of current policies and standards. Required.
Monitor space allocation across databases. Under direction of a senior-level DBA, perform adjustments in test and development environments as necessary and as prescribed by predefined standards/guidelines. Required.
Calculate disk space requirements for existing and/or new installations of existing business needs working with a senior-level DBA as necessary. Required.
