Job Title: DB2 DBA Lead

Location: Richardson, TX – 75082 (Hybrid Working Model)

• Mainframe DB2 DBA
Detailed Job Description:
• High Systems Availability:
o Monitor and review SQL
o Monitor database space requirements through automation
o Monitor Health check and alerts in place for database objects availability
o Provide on-call support 24×7
o Manage automation of and for database recovery including DR exercises
• Database Security:
o Automation detecting and alerting on download of sensitive data
o Create and give authority to Views restricting access to sensitive columns
o Parse the System logs for unauthorized access to databases that contain sensitive data.
o DB2 encryption change from EDITPROC to DS level WLN & WL (3Q)
• DB maintenance:
o DB jobs monitoring, Backup and restore, table, Table space creations, performance and logs monitoring
o Sub-Systems Consolidation/elimination
o BMC, DB2 upgrade preparation and validation
o Application Retirement and storage savings
o Support Outages and production issues related to the DB
Minimum years of experience: 8-10 years
