Embedded SW/FW Engineer
12+Month Contract
Redmond,WA(Onsite)
Responsibilities:
Develop end-to-end software/firmware test infrastructure for power management, boot loaders, scheduling, RTOS, and bare-metal implementations.
Collaborate on testing approaches: unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing.
Review software, firmware, hardware, and IP architectures for testability and integration risk.
Create automation tools for testing diverse devices and interfaces.
Support all development phases: architecture requirements, firmware development, FPGA debug, chip bring-up, and cross-functional team collaboration.
Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, raise defects, and work closely with development and infrastructure teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
2+ years of software and test experience, with a focus on embedded systems.
Familiarity with data acquisition systems and diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, power supplies).
Proficient in Python programming and experience with CI/CD methodologies.
Knowledge of low-level operating systems, RTOS, UBOOT, or bare-metal programming.
Hands-on experience with peripherals: UART, SPI, CSI-2, I2C, GPIO, USB, PCIE.
Familiarity with FPGA, hardware evaluation boards, EDA design tools, and ISA simulators.
Experience in real-time processing for computer vision and high-compute/throughput systems.
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
Skills Required: OS (Windows, Linux), RTOS, UBOOT (C, C++ Preferred), FPGA, UART, SPI, CSI-2, I2C, GPIO, USB, PCIE, CI/CD, Jenkins, Python, PyCharm.
Years of Experience: 2+ years in software and test, 12.00 Years of Experience overall.
