Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Lead

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ months

MOI: Skype

Candidates must live in the United States and have at least 5 years of advance and hands on experience with developing and designing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and extensive hands on experience with advance SQL.

The Marketing Cloud Technical Lead will be responsible for architecting and implementing solutions across the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform including integrations with the Veeva CRM, content management tools, and other systems. The SFMC Consultant must have a firm understanding of data integrations, SQL as well as scripting, and API capabilities. This role will partner with Campaign Solution Architects and Digital Production Leads to design, build, and execute digital marketing campaigns.

The person in this role will work closely with business partners, data and solution architects and business analysts to ensure our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform is developed, integrated and managed allowing for a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with Campaign Solution Architects to discover and implement solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Work with the Digital Services team, business, and project managers to help ensure the success of projects by validating proposed solutions and projects.
Validates and consults on technical design and solution requests and make suggestions for efficiency and improvement.
Provide technical consultation on various aspects of solutions.
Leverages Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and scripting language to deliver solutions to complex projects and customer journeys.
Executes advanced configuration and development activities based on assigned work orders.
Conducts solution testing and quality validation.
Assists with the development of solution blueprints.
Supports internal technical products and initiatives.
Conducts level 2-3 support and root cause analysis.
Responsible for the development and execution of marketing automation campaigns and customer journeys
Execution of marketing automation campaigns that create customer experiences by leveraging Salesforce.com CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Education and Years of Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Science, or 7+ years of IT/Programming experience.
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications (Must Have):

Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs for the Marketing Cloud. Technologist experience in application integration with other systems including knowledge/experience in API integrations.
Advanced level SQL and relational database experience.
Advance and hands on experience (at least 5 years) with developing and designing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud including: Journey Builder, Email Studio, Social Studio, Analytics Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Einstein Analytics. Being certified on it.
Proficient with AMPscript, SSJS, XML, and other web development languages (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
Experience with web development design languages, scripting tools, and protocols such as HTTP, CSS, XSLT, AJAX, JQuery.
Experience developing solutions in both large and small enterprises, including the challenges of integrating Marketing Cloud into complicated and legacy enterprise architectures and processes.

Understands digital marketing strategy and production processes.

Quick learner to new trends in technology.
Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices and of the Salesforce Platform
At least 2 years of experience utilizing/administrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create successful campaigns.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM.
Marketing Cloud Connector, and MobileConnect experience preferred.
