Mandatory Required Skills:

8+ years of SAP FICO and 2+ years of SAP S4/HANA – CFin & Treasury experience
SAP FICO Certification
Hands-on configuration experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4, FI (at least 8 years)
2+ full life cycle implementations experience in FICO
Preferred/Desired Skills:

Experience in ABAP debug, consulting background, and exposure to the media industry
Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana/ECC FICO & SCM & FCSM, FIORI, with at least 3-4 implementation cycles completed
Strong communication & presentation skills
Accounting background
Experience in delivering high-standard documentation
Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies (e.g., hybrid agile methodologies, JIRA, Monday.com)
Job Description:

The SAP FICO professional will play a pivotal role in our Santa Monica, CA location, bringing extensive experience and expertise to the SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4, FI landscape. With a focus on SAP S4/HANA – CFin & Treasury, this individual will hold a key position, contributing to the success of end-to-end SAP Finance implementations, specifically in the Record to Report domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end SAP Finance implementations in a hands-on capacity, focusing on Record to Report processes.
Collaborate with SAP consulting, S/4 Financial Accounting & S/4 Controlling, and implementation consultants.
Provide support in business requirements gathering, configuration, and production support across various finance modules, including General Ledger, Treasury, Banking, Costing/Controlling, AR/AP, Fixed Assets, payment run setup, electronic bank statement, EDI payment process, Controlling, Product costing, COPA, Project systems, Budgeting, Planning & consolidation, Cash & Bank, Bank Interfaces.
Participate in creating unit and integration test scenarios, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions.
Demonstrate strong technical awareness and hands-on configuration experience of FI, MM, SD, PS, CO-PA, CO-CCA/PCA, GL, FIORI, FCSM Credit Management, and S4 Hana Simplification.
Formulate a strategy and contribute to solution design, acting as a liaison between the BPA team and support.
Design and implement solutions aligned with UMG Global Design principles.
Act as the S4 Hana Finance Design authority for project delivery teams, working cross-functionally with multiple teams, including implementation partners and support.
Provide expertise in S4 Hana/ECC solution design, business process design, and supply chain/finance integration.
Translate requirements into implementation plans, ensuring the alignment of current and future state data, technical, application, and business architecture with UMG IT delivery methodology.
Think creatively to address complex issues and identify best practice solutions.
Collaborate closely with the team to resolve any issues and work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including implementation partners and support.
Stay updated on new technologies and research areas of SAP, demonstrating a strong aptitude for learning.
Qualification & Experience Skillset Criteria:

Strong S4 Hana/ECC FICO background with hands-on SAP development experience.
Experience designing resilient and high-availability solutions.
Proven track record of implementing SAP global programs and SAP SCM/Supply Chain projects.
Consulting background is preferred.
Ability to engage with and inspire confidence across all levels of the business, including “C” level executives.
Experience working in a global environment.
Strong communication & presentation skills.
Exposure to the media industry would be preferable.
Ability to deliver high-standard documentation.
