SAP Technical Project Manager
40 weeks
Travel for first 2 months then hybrid
Please submit those who have HEC working experience .
Location & Travel Details: Costa Mesa, California. 100% travel during Explore (7 weeks left)
Hybrid mode after Explore (approx. remote/ travel split, might adjust as we move closer to the specific phase):
• remote during build phase and IT1
• onsite for IT2 and/or UAT cycles
• remote during deploy
• onsite for cutover and Go Live
Project Details: REQUIRED: Skills, project details, activities to be performed, additional comments for the Staffing Team, etc.
Technical Project Manager who can effectively lead/manage a team. Tire/Automotive Industry experience preferred. S4H certifications a plus.
Core technical and project management process knowledge – Activate methodology, software development lifecycle, ABAP, de bugging skills including but not limited to:
• Ability to review technical requirements, assess and estimate technical + functional effort for requirement, compare to contracted deliverables and provide recommendations to the customer technical lead, NDBS project management team
• Baseline knowledge of CPI to validate design, delegate activities to the offshore CPI lead
• S4H output management knowledge
• Experience with managing and delivering interfaces, enhancements, workflows on S4H projects.
• Experience with working with BASIS, SAP HEC resources on transport management
Soft skills:
• Experience with leading all technical workstream activities, being accountable for and driving technical strategy outlines, key customer, 3rd party decisions required for S4H development, requirements deep dives and guiding functional and technical leads towards standardization through well thought out, well supported (through alternatives, impact analysis) recommendations.
• Proven experience managing offshore technical team, delegating work and building a task pipeline for offshore to tackle, including time approval, future hours estimate for the technical team.
• Experience with technical resource management (dealing with escalations, bringing critical risks, issues for the technical workstream to the Project manager).
