Job Description
As the PeopleSoft Payroll Lead with Integration Experience, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of our PeopleSoft Payroll system, ensuring seamless integration with various modules and external systems. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of PeopleSoft Payroll configurations, coupled with a proven track record of successfully integrating payroll systems with other HR and finance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll System Leadership:
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of PeopleSoft Payroll modules.
Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Act as the subject matter expert for PeopleSoft Payroll, providing guidance to internal teams.
Integration Management:
Develop and implement strategies for integrating PeopleSoft Payroll with other HR systems and external applications.
Collaborate with IT and HR teams to design and execute seamless data flows and integration points.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry best practices related to payroll processing.
Ensure payroll processes adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Generate accurate and timely payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the payroll function.
Work closely with stakeholders to streamline and enhance payroll-related workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with payroll processes.
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Payroll Lead, including successful implementations and integrations.
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Payroll configurations, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience with integration tools and middleware for connecting PeopleSoft with other applications.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
PeopleSoft Certification in Payroll.
Previous experience working with [specific tools, applications, or industries relevant to your organization].
Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ERP systems.
