Job Description

Title: SME (Full Stack Java)

Location: Hybrid 3 days in the Piscataway, NJ office( candidate should be local or nearby)
Duration: 6 Months CTH

MOI: Phone then video

The Required Experience: IS A MUST WITH SOME FROM END AS A Senior or Lead level developer carrying significant experience (5+ years of experience as a lead only).

Must have Job Function: Senior or Lead level full stack Java developer who has experience with Spring, SpringBoot, Angular, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and AWS cloud technologies

Responsibilities:

• Analysis, design, and application development expertise.

o will lead the design and development of major web application features, will be responsible for design and design decisions.

o will create and maintain design artifacts and related documents.

o will perform impact analysis of application changes.

• Provides accurate estimates and deliverable dates to help with the development of project plans.

• Maintains the code base through refactoring and introducing newer, more efficient technologies and frameworks.

• Maintains high quality of deliverables by conducting unit testing, integration/system testing, regression testing, production validation, and postproduction support.

• Keeps security best practices at the forefront in all design and development activities and proactively identifies and addresses concerns.

• Stays current with evolving technology trends and makes recommendations for the introduction of appropriate new technologies into our application stack.

• Interacts closely with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate technical design choices and limitations.

• Reports progress and activity to project leader / Scrum Master / and/or manager on a continuing basis.

Required Experience:

• Senior or Lead level developer carrying significant experience

• Excellent communication skills – will be interacting with application business owners and users on a daily basis, must show good judgement/tact.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or similar degree.

• Experience in lieu of a degree would be considered.
