Title: Project Manager (Onsite)
Location: Plantation, FL
Client: Broward County Public Schools

Must have:
Government Experience
Must-have skills: IT security implementation and integration projects;
intercom experience; Fire Systems, Access Control Systems,
Communication Systems, etc.; exp interpreting and implementing projects
with Building and Fire Code implications; exp interpreting and implementing
projects following Education Facilities requirements; exp with IT
Implementation Design Creation and Plan Reviews, Smartsheet exp;
Schools Districts / Public Sector exp
Earliest Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if
the interview is requested, to guarantee the Client that the candidate
submitted, interviewing and showing up for work is one and the same
Requirements:
• Project Management experience;
• Leadership experience;
Intercoms PM
• Experience working on security-related projects such as, but not limited
to, intercoms and radio repeaters;
• Experience managing IT security implementation and integration projects
– Intercoms;
• Schools Districts / Public Sector experience;
• Experience interpreting and implementing projects with Building and Fire
Code implications (preferred);
• Experience interpreting and implementing projects following Education
Facilities requirements (preferred);
• Experience with IT Implementation Design Creation and Plan Reviews
(preferred);
• Smartsheet experience (preferred).
Safety, Security & Emergency Preparedness PM:
• Project Manager, Safety, Security & Emergency experience (5+ years);
• Experience managing IT security and Electronic Door Access Control
projects;
• Experience with Avigilon video/intercoms, Avigilon intelligent controllers,
hardwired panic buttons, card readers;
• Experience with Earth Network's outdoor alerting system/lightning alarm;
• Experience with Open Gate weapons detection technology;
• Experience with Schlage door hardware;
• Experience working with Charter Schools (preferred);
• Grant writing experience (preferred);
• Experience with assessment and procurement of safety & security
technology
(or similar applicable experience) (preferred);
• Experience managing large and complex projects within the assigned
budget and delivery time frame (preferred);
• Experience working in a complex organization requiring collaboration
across multiple internal departments (preferred);
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Lead a team of contractors and in-house staff on physical security-related
projects such as, but not limited to, intercoms and radio repeaters;
• Facilitate team meetings, capture and disseminate minutes on a weekly
basis as well as on-site visits to schools from time-to-time as the face of the
project for school administrators;
• Work closely with various stakeholders, to include those outside of the
district to determine if vendors are meeting security standards;
• Update presentations for executive committee members on a monthly
