Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a seasoned team with a positive, professional relationship.
Lead and guide team members, communicate company initiatives, and resolve concerns.
Motivate, mentor, and coach our team to meet company standards and driver goals.
Direct daily activities related to routing, planning, dispatching, and tracking equipment.
Ensure timely and effective communication with operations staff.
Review dispatch software and driver assignments to ensure all loads are dispatched.
Manage the timely and efficient movement of loaded trucks, assist with scheduling, and ensure accurate load documentation.

Qualifications:

Previous management experience in the transportation industry.
Ability to handle fast-paced situations and provide effective solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Adaptability to new computer software.
Experience with McLeod, XRS, Excel, and Microsoft Office preferred.
