Position : HIL Development Engineer (Junior Only)

Location : Silvis, Illinois

Duration : 6+ months Contract

Description

Creating and maintaining VeriStand Projects

o Mapping the controller I/O to the Data Acquisition I/O (NI PXI and SLSC)

o Creating simulations of restbus controllers using MATLAB/Simulink

o Connecting plant model I/O to the DAQ/Controller I/O aliases

This will be done mainly for John Deere’s combine lines, but they may assist other groups over time

Half the work is committed and done in 5 days sprints; the other 5 days may be ad hoc/support as things change from the development team.

Must have: veristand and Simulink

Nice to have: LabVIEW and ETOS (labcar specifically)

Would be nice if the individual also is comfortable being hands on with the hardware such as rewiring as they troubleshoot
