Job Description

job Title: SharePoint Administrator

Position: Remote

Travel expenses: All Inclusive (Please note “Inclusive” indicates that travel expenses are included in the hourly rate)

Responsibilities:

Lead migration project from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint online. This includes migrating existing SharePoint forms, templates and workflows and creating new PowerApps forms and Power Automate workflows in a SharePoint Online environment.
Partner with Departmental SharePoint contacts to ensure the site(s) remains stable, searchable, well organized and contains relevant and current information.
Provides ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and security patching to SharePoint farm and related infrastructure services including Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Active Directory.
Performs ongoing system monitoring, verifying the integrity, availability and performance of the SharePoint Online environment and key processes, regularly review system and application logs, and verify completion of any scheduled jobs.
Adds/removes users, sets user permissions, and controls access to document libraries and workflows using Microsoft SharePoint. Active Directory and Microsoft SQL Server.
Manages a role-based Active Directory administration security and delegation model.
Performs standard backup procedures and data retrieval operations as needed to prevent data loss.
Provides intermediate deskside, email and telephone-based technical support for end-users in areas such as Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Workflows, and Microsoft InfoPath.
If needed, aids in defining and assessing third-party outsourcing vendor services scope of work definitions and SharePoint farm data migration planning/implementation to alternative cloud service provider tools or platforms.
Creates and maintains technical documentation of SharePoint configurations, migration processes, custom solutions, systems, services and applications including user guides.
Possesses strong knowledge in change management, version control and process.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices and procedures.
Adept at reading and comprehending technical documentation and procedure manuals.
Must be available to work weekends and/or after-hours with advanced notice.
May be utilized as part of a department 24/7 on-call scheduled rotation.
** Position is 100% remote work. Required to come to the office as needed. May be required to work on weekends as needed.**
