Job Title – Data Quality Consultant

Job Type – Hybrid ( 80% Remote/1x onsite)

Job location – Jersey City, NJ

Duration – 6+ Months

Client – Banking Corporation

WILL INTERVIEW BY VIDEO AND IN PERSON

Description –

Analyze business requirement for Data Quality rules.
Perform data profiling, evaluate the quality of the data, identify, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets.
Work with SMEs and business representatives to understand current data and define the appropriate mapping; resolving discrepancies during data definition as well as providing testing support.
Data mapping exercise to map KDE elements to data base table and columns
Understand ETL Transformation logic when moved to different hops
Design and Develop ETL extract job to source to DQ rules
Develop DQ validation logic
Develop rules in IBM Information analyzer, Collibra OwlDQ
Integrate IA rules to DataStage job
Generate exception files and load exceptions to table
Develop process to load to DQ control tables
MQ job creation
TWS job creation and dependency set-up.
Resolve any inconsistency with the exceptions.
Strong SQL skills
IBM

Remarks:
Must be onsite 1x week. Must be local to NJ
This is a technical role
Must be hands on with data mapping, data profiling, Data quality , ETL extract, transfer and load exp.,
Must have exp developing Data Quality Validation logic
Analyzing gaps
Open to industry; prefers out of banking but not a must
Must have other data quality tools experience like OWLDQ or Information Analyzer
