Job Description

Role: Mulesoft Architect
Location: Iselin NJ / Jersey City NJ / New York 10020 (100% Onsite) local candidates to NY/NJ only.
Long Term Contract

Role Overview
As the Integration Architect, you will design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects. You will work towards ensuring self and development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards. You will advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Middleware Platform. Developing and maintaining enterprise integration solution architecture including SOA concepts and capabilities. You will provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers and work closely with other technical leadership, solution architects to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing.

Job Responsibilities
The architect will be accountable for analyzing and designing Integration and Interoperability domain architecture to meet the information technology and business requirements
The architect will establish integration and data standards, processes (ensure compliance) and operationalization of the integration solutions, assist in developing a secure, scalable governance and operating model which includes assessment of new applications and technologies to be integrated, protocols to support, and underlying infrastructure components to execute on
Understands and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications
Apply standard development methods covering the full development lifecycle (project preparation, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support) to ensure solution quality
Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
Ensures self and development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards
Works closely with other Solution Architecture/Designers to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing
Communicate architectural decisions to various business groups and educate them.
Define and promote best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
10+ years’ experience in a hands-on technical leadership/Integration Architect position
Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing, developing and delivering application solutions for enterprise level development and integration MuleSoft projects
Preferred candidates with MuleSoft Certifications: Mulesoft Certified Platform Architect Mulesoft Certified Integration Architect
Experience Leading Anypoint Platform strategy implementations that help build an application network using API-led connectivity and ensure a quality solution.
Proficient at defining MuleSoft Architecture, Establishing Business Groups, Creating CloudHub/on-prem environments, including VPC design, VPN configurations, DLB setting up, Roles and User Access, and Single Sign-on.
Work closely with the operations team to design and implement technologies and processes that ensure all integration servers are backed up in support of the business s Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO).
Demonstrated experience to lead API design and RAML specifications. Strong understanding of full API-lifecycle management.
Demonstrated experience to lead API Security Design and Implementation.
Strong understanding of API Connectors.
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and branching strategy for MuleSoft API Deployment within an Agile SDLC is a plus.
Real time and batch integration experience with Salesforce and SAP S/4HANA Cloud
