Position Title: Workday Functional Specialist
Location: Remote

Position Summary

The Workday A functional specialist will be responsible for the configuration. implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure effective utilization of Workday functionalities to enhance HR processes and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Configuration & Implementation:

Configure and implement Workday HCM modules, including but not limited to Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Benefits.
Customize Workday solutions to meet business requirements and improve overall system efficiency.
Conduct regular system audits and implements necessary changes or updates.
Support & Maintenance:

Provide ongoing support for Workday HCM, including troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions.
Perform routine system maintenance, including updates and upgrades.
Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and configurations.
Collaboration & Training:

Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to understand and address their Workday needs.
Train HR staff and other users on Workday functionalities and best practices.
Act as a liaison between the business and Workday support teams.
Data Management & Reporting:

Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Workday system.
Develop and generate custom reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
Manage data integration between Workday and other internal or external systems.
Project Management:

Lead or participate in HR system-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Coordinate with vendors and consultants as needed.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Workday HCM configuration and implementation.
Workday certification is a must.
