Top Skills:

7+ Years of Java Development: The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Java development, demonstrating expertise in designing, coding, testing, and debugging Java applications.
API Development: Proficiency in API development is essential, as you will be responsible for creating and maintaining APIs to facilitate data exchange and integration.
ColdFusion: Strong skills in ColdFusion are required, as two of the applications you will be working on are ColdFusion-based. Experience in developing and maintaining ColdFusion applications is crucial.

Leadership and Soft Skills:

This role requires strong leadership qualities and soft skills. You should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and capable of leading a team. Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are vital.

Nice to Have:

Experience in Tax or Debt Management would be advantageous.
Familiarity with C&R or CGI products is a plus.
Knowledge of Debt Manager, as the team is consolidating applications into this platform.
Any experience in collections, recovery, or debt-related projects is beneficial.
Day to Day/Project Responsibilities:

Initially, your primary focus will be clearing the backlog of tasks. While this may not involve exciting new development work, it is a critical step in streamlining processes. Subsequently, you will lead the effort to consolidate three applications into one, with a particular emphasis on Debt Manager.

Team and Work Environment:

There will be no furloughs for this team during the year. Candidates should be committed to the role and not plan on taking extended time off, as the team is currently behind schedule.
