Position: Workday HCM Analyst

Location: Allentown, PA (Candidate can be remote)

Duration: 9 months

Summary:

Seeking a Workday Analyst to support current efforts focused on driving forward process transformation while ensuring our people-related activity is executed exceptionally. The tasks this role will be responsible for include analyzing current processes and identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and simplification while sustaining improvements. Additionally, this position will support developing and maintaining process and risk documentation.

SUBCONTRACTOR EMPLOYEE SKILLS::

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven experience as an HCM Workday Analyst. (experience with other Workday modules is a plus)
ServiceNow experience is beneficial
Strong understanding of human resource processes and best practices.
Experience with documenting processes and facilitating workshops with process owners and subject matter experts
Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to adhere to deadlines.
Ability to handle highly confidential information and treat employee data with the highest discretion
Solid verbal/ written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by teamwork
Knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations
PROJECT / WORK TO BE PERFORMED::

Work with stakeholders to identify process gaps and enhancement opportunities in Workday and other HR systems.
Work with departmental subject matter experts and managers to develop, document, and optimize workflows, taking into account all applicable laws and regulations.
Lead and facilitate ongoing reviews of business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization and risk mitigation.
Conduct problem solving sessions with stakeholders to understand the business case for process enhancement requests and prioritization.
Collaborate with the HRIS team to understand and document business process impacts from Workday change requests
Support the change management team by communicating updates needed to training materials and identifying change communications required.
Identify process risks and recommend approaches for mitigation
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure process performance and monitor improvements. Track and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of process enhancements and identify further areas for improvement.
Recommend and test development of process compliance and risk mitigation control reports
Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Conducts formal and informal training sessions regarding Workday processes and functionality
Act as a liaison between HR and key business partners including Finance, Accounting, IT, Internal Audit and Legal.
