Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Improve preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure proper functioning of all manufacturing equipment.
Work closely with quality control teams to maintain and improve product quality.
Implement measures to reduce defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve overall efficiency and reduce waste.
Lead and participate in engineering projects related to process improvement or facility expansion.
Develop project plans and timelines.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, quality, and management.
Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on projects and initiatives.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) preferred.
5+ years of experience as Plant Engineer in a manufacturing facility
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an engineering or process improvement role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Project management experience is a plus.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
10-15% travel required.
