r. SAP BW HANA Techno Functional

San Antonio, TX HYBRID (M-Th at minimum, preferably M-F)

Client: Valero (Oil & Gas domain)

12 months contract

Accepting H1B’s from Trusted firms , ALL VISA’s acceptable

Resources with BW/HANA, Native HANA, and CDS Views to talk with business users to define the requirement, produce Technical design and then do the development. This is a commercial analytics project where resource will be creating CDS views, creating BW data flows, Power BI or Analysis for Office queries, talking to end users, end-to-end holistic work and creating/developing from scratch, not just enhancements or support work. They will have a Functional person from the client to work alongside. They are busy with a SuccessFactors project and have a lot of reporting to do. One of these positions is also for someone to help with the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) project, so SAC experience would be a plus.

Technical

Experience in design & development of reporting solutions
Deep knowledge of SAP BW on HANA, including development experience of ADSO, Transformations, DTPs, Composite Provider, and BEx Query using BW Modeling in HANA Studio.
Experience in creating complex data models to consume data from SAP and non-SAP source systems to create Static Reports, Dynamic, Interactive & Real Time Reports.
Ability to write efficient ABAP code in SAP BW Transformations, and BW extractor routines.
Deep knowledge in SAP HANA Modeling, including development of medium to high complex Graphical/Scripted calculation views, define object level and data level security.
Experience in using SAP HANA SDI, SDA for remote consumption of source tables/views.
Experience in utilizing SAP BW on HANA objects and SAP HANA Calculation views to create hybrid data models.
Expert level design and development skills in SAP Business Objects BI development, SAP Analysis for Office, and Microsoft Power BI tools.
Proficient in SAP BusinessObjects Universe design and data modeling.
Strong analytical capabilities with an understanding of statistical modeling.
Functional knowledge of SAP Inventory Management, including Material Movements, Inventory Snapshots etc.
Basic skills using Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Skype)

Experience developing SAP HANA CDS views
Experience developing advanced Power BI Dashboards
Prior Oil & Gas functional experience to understand business terms like Trade, Nomination, Forecast, Allocations, Rack Liftings, Bulk Sales etc.
