Job Description

Role: SAP Performance Engineers

Work location: Sunnyvale, CA Or Austin, TX

Mandatory skills: Performance Engineering on SAP, ABAP, Python/Java/C++, LoadRunner/Jmeter, SQL Tuning, JVM Tuning, Dynatrace/AppDynamics

Desired skills: Experience in Cloud-based platforms like AWS and GCP

Roles and Responsibilities:

Must-Have Experience:

• Exp : Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Performance Testing and engineering

• Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.

• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).

• Experience in performance testing tools – LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, Postman.

• Experience in data analysis and visualization, end-to-end performance, and root cause analysis.

• Experience in service-oriented architecture, and RESTful APIs.

• Strong knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries.

• Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.

• Experience with application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.

• Efficiently work with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks.

Responsibilities:

• Define, develop and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.

• Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.

• Work efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.

• Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.

• Plan and execute performance tests using an automated testing environment and conduct analysis of results.

• Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts and own quality perspectives for the design.
