Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of the Functional/Technical Consultant consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
• Work on Planning tool Assessment
• Engage business users to gather and capture detailed as is processes and to be requirements.
• Perform business and systems analysis discussions, and translate findings into clearly defined Business Requirements Document, Functional Requirements, Use cases, Users stories, etc.
• Work and coordinate with various teams onsite/offshore model across multiple systems used for planning processes.
• Fully understand all the functionality of the current and interfacing systems between SAP, BPC, and other planning systems
• Perform thorough impact analysis on various systems based on the business requirements.
• Ensure Implementation team understands the requirements and impact clearly.
• Provide in-depth functional solutions to business leaders and IT management that ensure development and configuration of efficient application systems in accordance with established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
• Provide integration requirements with other IFC systems.
• Provide data conversion requirements from legacy systems, if needed
• Support creation of Test Scenarios, Scripts and data needed to validate the Functional requirements for a flawless delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by IFC PM
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Accounting, or equivalent experience required.
• At least 7 years of BA experience, including at least 4 years in accounting/finance/budget systems.
• Substantial experience in Finance and Accounting Domain with planning processes experience.
• Knowledge in different planning processes is a must (WF Planning, CAPEX Planning, Headcount planning etc.)
• Excellent knowledge and experience in business requirements collection and developing functional specifications or articulating user stories.
• Excellent interviewing capabilities, strong analytical skills to critically evaluate gathered information,
• Strong presentation and organization skills.
• Excellent communications and writing skills.
• Extensive experience with implementing large scale complex systems,
• Extensive experience with various system development lifecycle methodologies and tailoring the artifacts to those methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
• Ability to collect and document business requirements, technical requirements, and process flows.
• Ability to define use cases, user stories, test scenarios, test cases, etc.
