Job Description

The Information Technology (IT) Manager will report to the Information Technology Director and assist with developing and managing our technology initiatives. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing our technology infrastructure, ensuring its security and performance, and leading a team of IT professionals. You will also work closely with the business to align our IT strategy with our business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the company’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
Assist in the development and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure that all technology systems are up-to-date and running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in technology and make recommendations for improvements to our systems and processes.
Partner with the business to develop and execute an IT strategy by identifying the appropriate use of technology to improve the performance of the business.
Ensure full IT compliance from both an application and infrastructure perspective, meeting all internal and external security/regulatory requirements.
Achieve all business and operational objectives, including network & application availability, help-desk responsiveness, backup, and recovery, etc.
Provide end user support in a timely, courteous, and professional manner to our dealer body.
Maintain, troubleshoot, support hardware, software, operating systems, and applications.
Provide support for all departments and locations for projects involving information technology.
Create/Enable/Disable user accounts per procedure for new hire and terminated users on all systems.
Maintain accurate records and follow established policies and procedures.
Support desktop and laptop refresh operations.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Assist with Cyber Security training of end users.
Maintain and support audio/visual technologies as needed.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and fleet customers.
Able to work some Saturdays and some evenings as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong knowledge of network systems, security protocols, and software applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience in network infrastructure architectures, implementations, and on-going support
Previous oversight of a multi-site organization – Preferred
Experienced in server management as well as data storage within a co-located data center environment – Preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form – Preferred
Proven hands-on management style in a lean environment – Preferred
